Here is how to program a BMW X1 garage door opener; you’ll first need to park your car in front of the garage (but not blocking its open/close monitor).
On some garage openers, you need to press the Learn button on the control panel before you can pair your BMW. Once you click the Learn button, grab your garage door clicker and get in the car.
Hold the clicker right beside the HomeLink. Press the desired HomeLink button and the garage door clicker at the same time. Hold for about 30 ten seconds until the HomeLink button turns green. Then release both buttons.
With that done, your BMW X1 and your garage door should be linked!
