How do I prevent sun damage to my car’s paint?

How can I protect my car from sun damage? I park my car outside a lot, and it just sits in the hot sun.

Sun damage is definitely frustrating, but you can avoid it in a couple of ways.
The best way to prevent sun damage to your car’s paint is to keep your vehicle out of the sun. Park in a garage,
covered parking lot
, or shaded area when you can.
If you’re not able to keep your car out of the sun, you can buy a car cover—or at least cover your headlights and the rubber trim around them with sun shades to avoid any damage. Washing and waxing your car regularly can also help to prevent damage to the paint.
And if you’re worried about the interior, you can buy a windshield sun screen to prevent your car from getting too hot.
Protecting your car from the sun is important, but you should protect it in other ways, too. One of the best ways to do this is by getting a good car insurance policy via the
Jerry
app. Jerry can collect information based on your current policy, then show you quotes from other companies to make sure that you’re getting the best coverage at the best rate.
