Worry not! There are plenty of ways to prevent your car from overheating.
When not in use, do your best to park your car in a cool, shaded area. Sitting in the hot sun all day can heat the metal and make the interior unbearable when you need to drive it next. Also invest in window shades or window tinting to keep the interior cool.
If you’re driving and worried the car is overheating, pull over. Park in a cool, shaded spot and give your engine time to rest. While counterintuitive, turning on the heat (not the A/C) can cool an overheating engine.
Interior factors can also cause your car to overheat. Ensure you’ve got enough oil and that your coolant system is working correctly to keep your car’s engine at the correct temperature.
