How do I pop the Subaru WRX STI hood open?
My dad has his car stored in my garage for the summer and he wants me to keep the hood open while it's parked so that rats are less likely to live in it. I don't mind doing it but I don't know how to open the hood. How do I pop the Subaru WRX STI hood?

Subaru WRX STI
hood for your dad:- Pull the primary hood release. It is located to the lower left of the steering wheel, near the driver side door
- Once you pull the hood release, the hood will pop up, and stay slightly raised
- Go to the front of yourSubaruand locate the safety latch. It is right below the Subaru hood ornament
- Push the safety latch to the left and lift the hood straight up
Since the hood will be up for a while, disconnect the internal compartment lights from the engine to avoid a
dead battery
