How do I play music through Bluetooth in a 2006 Infiniti G35?

I just purchased a 2006 Infiniti G35 and am delighted to see that it has Bluetooth functionality! How do I connect my phone and play music?

Congratulations on the new (to you) ride! You can play music through Bluetooth in a 2006
Infiniti G35
 by following these steps:
  • First, make sure your phone’s Bluetooth is set to On.
  • Then, from inside your G35, Press its Menu button.
  • Go through its audio system and select Settings, then Bluetooth, then Connect Device.
  • Select Add New to register your device.
  • Next, go through your phone’s Bluetooth settings and select My Car.
  • A PIN number will be sent to your phone.
  • Confirm that the number is the same as the one on your vehicle’s screen.
  • Finally, accept the pairing request on your phone by selecting OK.
Voila—you should now be connected to INFINITI INTOUCH™ (Infiniti’s Bluetooth system)! To play music, simply open your preferred music streaming app, select a killer bop, and rock out!
