How do I play music through Bluetooth in a 2006 Infiniti G35?

I just purchased a 2006 Infiniti G35 and am delighted to see that it has Bluetooth functionality! How do I connect my phone and play music?

Congratulations on the new (to you) ride! You can play music through Bluetooth in a 2006 Infiniti G35 by following these steps:

First, make sure your phone’s Bluetooth is set to On.
Then, from inside your G35, Press its Menu button.
Go through its audio system and select Settings, then Bluetooth, then Connect Device.
Select Add New to register your device.
Next, go through your phone’s Bluetooth settings and select My Car.
A PIN number will be sent to your phone.
Confirm that the number is the same as the one on your vehicle’s screen.
Finally, accept the pairing request on your phone by selecting OK.

Voila—you should now be connected to INFINITI INTOUCH™ (Infiniti’s Bluetooth system)! To play music, simply open your preferred music streaming app, select a killer bop, and rock out!
