You can perform DIY car dent repairs using a plunger, hot water, or rubber mallet.
One simple way to deal with dents is using a household plunger (just make sure to wash it first).
  • Get both the dent and plunger wet
  • Place the plunger over the dent
  • Push and pull the plunger over the dent
  • Use its suction power to get the dent to pop out
Or, use hot water. This is best for bumper dents.
  • Boil water
  • Wear gloves to protect your hands from heat
  • Pour boiling water over the dent
  • Push the dent out from the other side
Another option is to use a rubber mallet and a dolly.
  • Place the dolly over the dent
  • Hammer the dent from the other side using the rubber mallet
  • You should be able to get the dent out gradually
