How do I pair my phone to a Honda Accord?
My car was totaled last month after a collision. As a surprise, my kids all chipped in to buy me a 2021 Honda Accord Touring, and they said it has a Bluetooth feature to connect my phone. My previous vehicle did not have all these new high-tech features, so I’m clueless about how they function. How do I set up Bluetooth in a Honda Accord?

Pairing a device with the HandsFreeLink Bluetooth feature on your new vehicle is a straightforward process, so don’t worry. In just a few clicks, you can successfully connect your
phone
to your car!- Park your vehicle. Turn the ignition to the On position, but don’t start the car.
- Press the Home button on your vehicle’s display screen.
- Search for the Smartphone button on the touchscreen and select it.
- An option will appear to pair your phone. Before you tap Connect New Device, ensure you’ve turned on Bluetooth on your phone.
- If you have not, go to Settings on your smartphone. Turn on the Bluetooth function, so your phone is discoverable. Now you may select Connect New Device on the vehicle touchscreen.
- HandsFreeLink should appear on your phone.
- Your car’s screen will display a pairing code. Confirm the code matches on your phone and select Pair.
- A list of functions will appear on the vehicle touchscreen. Select the functions you want to connect. Next, tap the Connect button to confirm this action.
Congratulations, you have successfully connected your device via Bluetooth!
