How do I pair a BMW key fob?
I just got a new BMW, and I’m so excited—it’s such a beautiful car! Unfortunately, I’m not quite sure how to pair it with the key fob. How can I pair my BMW to its key fob?

Congratulations on the new ride, and great question! To pair a
BMW
key fob, start by sliding the key into the ignition. Here’s what to do next:- Quickly move your key between OFF and Position One. Do this five times in a row.
- Remove the key from the ignition.
- Hold down the lock button. While doing this, press the BMW logo three times, then release the unlock button.
- Turn the ignition. If it works, you should be all set!
If you’re still having trouble, reach out to the dealership or nearest BMW service center. Either can help you get your key programmed so you can get on the road!
