How do I open the hood of a Lexus IS 250?
My change oil light recently came on my dashboard. How do I open the hood of my Lexus IS 250 so I can change the oil?

You can open a
Lexus IS 250
hood in just a minute or two; start by pulling the hood release lever inside your car and then releasing the safety latch under the hood.The hood release lever can be found on your car’s driver’s side interior, under the dashboard and inside the door well. Pulling it will open your hood just a couple of inches, so you can access the safety latch underneath. If you’re having trouble locating the safety latch, start by finding the Lexus badge above your grill and check under the area of the hood just above it!
To release the safety latch, push it left. From there, your hood should lift open easily and you can change your oil!
