How do I open the hood of a Chrysler 300?
I need to get under the hood of my Chrysler 300, but I can’t figure out the trick with the safety latch. How do I open my car’s hood?

Opening hoods aren’t always the easiest!
To open your
Chrysler 300
’s hood, you must release two latches: the hood release lever and the safety catch. You can find the hood release lever inside your car, just below your steering wheel and to the left. Once you’ve located it, pull it towards you to release. Then, exit your vehicle and move to the front of your car. Below the hood and above the grille, you’ll find the safety catch. You may have to lay your hand flat in order to access it, as there’s only an inch-wide opening of space under your car hood.
Once you’ve found the safety catch, push it to the left. Then, all that’s left to do is push open the hood the rest of the way and prop it up!
