How do I open the gas tank on an Acura MDX 2022?
My friend let me borrow their MDX to do a little test driving. I’m thinking of buying my own, after I finally drove my old car into the ground. But I’m having trouble figuring out the fuel door mechanism. How do I open the gas tank on an Acura MDX 2022?

To open the gas tank on an Acura MDX 2022, press on the exterior fuel door and it will pop open.
Whereas older cars typically had interior switches to pop open the fuel door, the 2022
Acura MDX
has no interior lever. Instead, all you have to do is lightly press and release the fuel door from the outside. If your car is parked, off, and unlocked, then the fuel door will open easily.
Note that the MDX doesn’t have a gas cap. Instead, you can insert the nozzle directly into the hole behind the fuel door. So convenient! When you’re done, simply press the fuel door closed until it latches securely.
Premium gas is recommended but not required for the Acura MDX. You’ll save money by opting for regular unleaded fuel, but the car may not perform to its highest capacity and using the
wrong fuel
