Being prepared is always a good move! To open the gas tank on a Kia Sedona, all you have to do is press the fuel door release button on the dash. The button should have a gas pump icon on it and will be located to the left of the steering wheel and slightly lower than the other buttons.

Once you press the release button, the fuel door should pop open. Then, all you have to do is remove the gas cap and fill the tank.

Depending on which model year your aunt’s Sedona is, the button may be located somewhere else on the dashboard, or you may need to look for a release lever on the floor. You can refer to Kia’s online manuals or ask your aunt if you’re having trouble locating the fuel door release.
