I’m driving my daughter’s car home after moving all of her stuff to her dorm. I haven’t had to take it on long trips before, so I’m not sure where the gas tank release is. How do I open the gas tank on a 2021 Hyundai Kona?

That’s nice of you to drive your daughter’s car back home! You can open the gas tank on a Hyundai Kona from 2021 by pulling up on the release lever on the floor on the left side of the driver’s seat.

The gas tank is located on the driver’s side of the vehicle as well. Once you pull up on the lever, the gas tank cover should pop open. Simply fill up the Kona, then make sure to close the gas tank door.
