How do I open the gas tank on a Chrysler minivan?
I rented a Chrysler minivan for a family road trip but cannot seem to figure out how to open up the tank. Is there a special button hidden somewhere?

Family road trips are a lot of fun, but not being able to fill up your tank sure isn’t. If you’re struggling to find the gas tank release button in your Chrysler minivan, it’s because there isn’t one!
All you have to do is press on the fuel fill door, and it will pop open. However, if you’re having trouble, it may be because you have to press a very specific point.
You’ll want to push on the center-rear edge of the door. Since it’s shaped like a circle, imagine you’re pushing the 3 o’clock position. If this doesn’t work, you may be experiencing some sort of mechanical issue, and you should contact
Chrysler
for additional assistance.Once the fuel door has successfully been opened, pumping gas is easy, as there is no gas cap on a Chrysler. Once you’re all finished topping off your tank, simply shut the door and gently press it to reseal.
