How do I open the gas tank on a 2021 Nissan Sentra?
I’m a roadie on a U.S. tour with a British rock band, and part of my job is to drive the band’s manager, Rupert, behind the van carrying the band and their gear. He’s a real persnickety fellow, and never misses the chance to point out your shortcomings or mistakes. The Sentra I’m driving is getting pretty low on fuel and I know we’re going to have to fill up soon, but here’s the thing—I have no idea how to open the gas tank. I don’t want to be ridiculed—how do I open the gas tank on a 2021 Nissan Sentra?

on the driver’s side below the dashboard, next to a tab that releases the hood. Just pull the gas tank release, and the fuel filler door will pop open.No need to let Rupert’s withering barbs get you down when you’re about to fill up your Sentra’s gas tank. Now you can pop that fuel filler panel open with confidence. While you may just be a roadie, keep things in perspective. At least you’re not the one managing a band that’s touring the country in a van—last time we checked, real bands toured the country in a bus. That’s an automotive mic drop if we’ve ever heard one.
