How do I open the gas tank on a 2019 Toyota Camry?

I recently bought a certified preowned Toyota Camry. It’s a sweet ride, but I realized that I have a huge problem—I have no idea how to open the gas tank! Before I run out of gas, how can I open the gas tank on a 2019 Camry?

Every car seemingly has a different way to open a gas cap, so if you’re confused, you’re certainly not alone! To open the gas tank on a 2019 Toyota Camry, locate the gas fuel filler door release button on the left side of the steering wheel.

Press and hold this button until you hear the release mechanism unlatch. Then, go to the actual fuel filler door and open it. Once you’re done refueling, push the filler door and it will lock back in place.
