Don’t be embarrassed! It’s not always super intuitive, especially with a vehicle you’re unfamiliar with. But luckily for you, opening the gas tank on a 2017
Mitsubishi Outlander
is very simple. First, make sure your engine is turned off. Then look for the gas tank release lever on the floor and pull it up to unlock the fuel tank door. The tank door should be located on the driver’s side, and all you have to do is turn the gas tank cap counterclockwise to open it.
And that’s all, folks! Now you’re ready to fill up the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander’s 16.6-gallon gas tank like a pro.
