How do I open my Toyota 4Runner trunk?
What are the different ways to open my Toyota 4Runner trunk? I recently purchased a Toyota 4Runner and I’m unfamiliar with how to use all the features.

Congratulations on the new car! Thankfully, learning how to open the trunk of your
Toyota 4Runner
is very simple. There are three ways to open the trunk:
- Inside of the vehicle: On the driver’s side, there should be a lever with a trunk icon on it. Normally, this is near the seat. When you pull up on the lever, the trunk will pop open.
- Withthe key fob: If you unlock your car using the key fob, it should also unlock the trunk. Most key fobs let you hit the unlock button twice to unlock the trunk and passenger doors. Depending on your model, there may be a button specifically for unlocking and opening the trunk.
- Manually: You can unlock the car by using the unlock button on the driver’s side door. Your model may also have a keyhole on the trunk to open it.
