How do I open a Tesla charger port?

New Tesla owner! Stoked to be going electric. I can’t figure out how to open the charger port, however, so for now I’m not going anywhere. How do I open a Tesla charger port?

Opening the
Tesla
 charging port is very simple! Here are a few different options:
  • On the touchscreen, touch the Charge icon, which looks like a lightning bolt.
  • Press the charge port door when the car is unlocked or if the key is near.
  • Hold the rear trunk button down on the key fob.
  • Use voice commands from inside the car to open the charge port door.
