Step 1: Pull the hood release handle. This is located on the driver’s side under the left side of the instrument panel. When you pull the lever, you’ll see the hood pop up about an inch.
Step 2: Locate the hood release lever. Move to the front of your Caddy and look under the center front of the hood for this.
Step 3: Press the hood release lever to the right, and lift the hood at the same time. You should be able to lift the hood and prop it open while you work.
