How do I open a BMW M3 hood?
How can I open the hood on my BMW M3? I need to refill my windshield washer fluid and don’t want to take my car to a mechanic just for that, but I’m not sure how the hood opens.

- Pull the hood release lever that can be found on the lower left side of the driver’s side cabin. This should allow the hood to pop up slightly.
- Head around to the center of the hood of your car and push up on the safety latch that is still anchoring the hood down. Once the latch is released, your hood should be able to open all the way.
That’s all there is to it, really! Certainly no need to take your vehicle to the mechanic for a windshield washer fluid refill.
