I just bought my little sister her first car. It was a used purchase and I want to make sure everything under the hood is in working order. How do I open a 2012 Toyota Prius C hood so I can check it all out?

What a great present! Popping the hood on a 2012
Toyota Prius C
is super easy once you get the hang of it. Just follow these steps:- Pull the primary hood release. You will find it to the left of the steering wheel on the driver side component panel
- After pulling the hood release, the hood will pop up, and stay slightly raised
- Go to the front of theToyotaand push the secondary release straight up. You will find it under the Toyota logo.
- Then push the hood up with one hand and use the other to secure it with the hood strut (that little metal stick)
