How do I moisturize windshield wipers?

I’ve been noticing lately that my windshield wipers have a hard time working properly and seem to be pretty dry. I’ve heard that you can keep your wipers moisturized, but how exactly do I moisturize windshield wipers?

To moisturize your windshield wipers, simply do the following:
  • Lif your wipers up.
  • Dip a cloth in petroleum jelly and wipe it along the rubber of each blade, allowing the lotion to sink into them.
  • Allow the petroleum jelly to set for 10 minutes before wiping the blades and repositioning the wiper arms.
If you still find your windshield wipers aren’t working properly after this, you might need to get them fully replaced. There’s a chance your
