Luckily, it is easy to lift your wipers. First, you’ll want to get your wipers into the upright position. Most cars can do this by pushing upward on the windshield wiper control. Check your owner’s manual if you’re unsure.
With the wipers pointed upward, get out of your car. Grab them gently and pull them toward you. This will lift them off the windshield. They will stay up while you wash your windshield.
Once you’ve finished, you can push the wipers back into place. Then turn your car on and use your wiper controls to return the wipers to their initial position.
