How do I know if the automotive fuse in my AC unit is blown?

My AC unit has been working overtime in this hot weather lately. All of a sudden it stopped working, which makes me think that maybe a fuse blew out. I don’t know how to tell, though. How do I know if the automotive fuse in my AC unit is blown?

Oh no, sorry to hear your AC stopped working! A typical vehicle will have multiple fuses connected to the operation of the AC unit. To locate the correct AC fuse(s) in your vehicle’s fuse box—and the fuse box itself—refer to your owner’s manual.
You can usually tell a fuse is blown if the wire within the fuse is visibly melted or burned. Once you know what fuses to check, you can make sure they’re correctly connected and inspect them to see if any of them are blown and replace them as needed.
As you continue looking after your vehicle, ensure it’s adequately protected with the right
