How do I keep the leather seats cool in my car in Texas?
I have leather seats in my car, which are quite comfortable for three-quarters of the year. However, I live in Texas, and during the summer the leather becomes scorching hot—obviously making it very uncomfortable to sit down. Is there a way to keep my car's leather seats cool?

- Buy a sun shade
- Install tinted windows
- Park in a garage or shaded area
- Crack your windows
- Purchase seat covers
Using one or all of these methods should keep your leather seats cool so you can drive. If you have a child, though, you may also want to remove the
car seat
each day so it doesn’t get too hot and harm your baby.You’ll also want to make sure that the wheel is cool enough to comfortably touch, or else you may drive recklessly and cause an accident. Consider a wheel cover, or just sit in your car with the AC blasting and listen to some good music until it’s cool enough for you to touch.
