If you’re worried about rabbits or other animals in your engine, you have a few options. You can set traps to catch the rabbits. However, these are more effective for rats and other rodents than rabbits.
Another option is to restrict the access that rabbits or other animals have to your vehicle. Store your car in a truck and make sure that any access points are properly blocked. Also, make sure that doors and windows remain closed when the vehicle is not in use.
If you still notice a lot of animal activity in the area, you can use a spray deterrent. Many companies make spray deterrents designed for rabbits and other animals. This won’t harm them, but it will make them less likely to enter the area. You can find these products online or at a hardware store such as Lowe’s or Home Depot.
Finally, you’ll want to be sure that you clean the area around your vehicle. Keeping the area clear of dirt and debris can also prevent rabbits or other animals from wanting to be around your vehicle.
