I have a 2015 Acura MDX that I haven’t driven in a while. I went to take it out today, and I can’t get it to start—how do I jump-start my 2015 Acura MDX?

, you’ve come to the right place! You’ll need a set of jumper cables and a power source—either a portable battery or another vehicle. Once you’ve got both on hand, follow these steps:- Make sure your car’s engine is off, including any power to electric devices like lights or audio
- Pop the hood and remove the engine cover from the pins by pulling up
- Connect one of your jumper cables to your booster battery’s positive terminal
- Connect your second jumper cable to your booster battery’s negative terminal
- Use the other end of your second jumper cable to connect to the engine hanger
- If you’re using another vehicle as a power source, start the other car and gently step on the gas pedal to slightly increase its rpm
- At this point, you should try starting your Acura’s engine
If everything is connected properly, your car’s engine should turn over in a try or two! If it seems the engine is turning over slowly, double-check your jumper cables to ensure they’re connected properly.
