How do I Install nerf bars on a 2001 Ford F-150?
I need to add something to my lifted Ford truck to get in easier. How do I install nerf bars on a 2001 F-150 that I use for off-roading?

Adding nerf bars will keep you from having to scale the side of your truck to get in! First, gather these tools:
- 13mm socket and wrench
- Nerf bars
- Line up the nerf bars. The nerf bar under the driver’s door will curve sharply inward on the back. Attach the bar to the vehicle by hanging it to your rocker panel. Ensure proper alignment between the bracket holes on either side.
- Place nuts into holes. Attach the nuts that came with your nerf bars to the holes on top of the bar. Clip them through the bottom hole. Place the U-nuts into all holes.
- Tighten the nuts. There should be two bolts on each bracket. One goes through the U-nut, the other goes through the bottom and upwards. Fasten all the bolts to secure the bar to your vehicle.
- Repeat on the other side.
