How do I handle getting auto insurance for a new car?
Can you walk me through the process of buying auto insurance as a first-time car buyer?
First, get several car insurance quotes for the vehicle you want. Pick the quote that offers the right coverage for the best price.
Then go to the dealer and get all the paperwork done for the vehicle purchase.
Next, call the insurance company while you’re at the dealer and tell them you want to buy the policy you were quoted. Pay your premium over the phone. They will send proof of insurance to the dealer.
Have the dealer confirm receipt of the proof of insurance and you’re done.

I traded in my old car for a used vehicle worth $4,000. I've been driving the car for a few days. Then the dealer called me, saying financing fell through and the loan is null and void. What does this mean?
