How do I get used to driving a bigger car?

I just bought a Nissan Armada after driving a Ford Focus for years. I’m definitely not used to a car this big, but I love the space and room for my kids. Is there any way to get used to driving a bigger car?

Congrats on the new ride! A
Nissan Armada
is much bigger than a Ford Focus, but you can certainly get used to driving a bigger car over time.
Here are a few tips you can apply:
  • Go slow. Practice makes perfect in this sense, so don’t expect to get used to driving a bigger car overnight.
  • Use your Armada’s camera and radar technology to act as another set of eyes on the road and around your vehicle.
  • Always overestimate the size of your bigger car, at least at first. This will help you avoid scratching your car when parking.
  • Adjust your mirrors accordingly, as driving a bigger car can hamper how well you can see around your vehicle.
  • Identify your blind spots so you’re aware of them before you switch lanes or make turns.
While you may already have
car insurance
for your Armada, reviewing your policy regularly is always smart. Once you’ve looked it over, shop around with other insurance companies by using the
