I put sunblock on my legs and sat in my leather car seats without thinking about it. Now there are visible stains and I'm kicking myself. How do I get sunblock off leather seats?

“Don’t kick yourself too hard; it happens to the best of us, and there’s an easy way to get rid of it!
To get sunblock off leather seats and to avoid further damage to your interior, follow these steps:
- Wipe off any excess sunblock
- Sprinkle baking soda on the affected area
- Let it sit overnight
- The baking soda should yellow in color
- Remove the baking soda
- Repeat as necessary
Unfortunately, your
extended warranty
or car insurance
won’t cover this type of damage. If you can’t remove the stain, you will have to pay out of pocket for an auto detailer to get the job done. However, even if you can’t afford an auto detailer at the moment, there’s still good news: if you’re the car’s most frequent driver, it’s not likely that anyone else will ever see the stains. And you can always keep at it with the baking soda!
