Replacing your windshield wiper was a great first step for taking care of the damage. Luckily, you can get rid of small scratches on your windshield with toothpaste or scratch-remover.
To get rid of scratches with non-gel toothpaste:
  • Apply the paste to a soft cloth.
  • Rubbing it over the scratches for about 45 seconds.
  • Wiping the area clean.
If you’d rather use an acrylic scratch remover:
  • Apply the product to a soft cloth.
  • Rub it over the scratch for about 60 seconds.
  • Let it sit for half an hour.
  • Wipe it clean with a fresh cloth.
Congratulations! If you followed either set of instructions, your
windshield
should be scratch-free.
