How do I get renters insurance if I'll only be living in a place for three months?
"I plan to rent an apartment for just three months, but building management wants me to get renters insurance anyway. How do I get renters insurance in this scenario? Is there such a thing as short-term renters insurance?
“Most insurance companies only offer one-year policy terms for property insurance. If you pay for the year in full, they would be able to provide you with a prorated refund when the time comes to cancel your renters policy. You may also be able to pay month to month so you don’t have to pay for a longer length of coverage than needed upfront. “
