How do I get off my parents’ car insurance?
I’m headed off to college and my parents have decided to take me off their car insurance. I know it’s about time for me to be on my own insurance, but none of us are entirely sure how to remove me from their policy. How can I get off of my parents’ car insurance?

! To get your own plan, start doing some research and shopping around for a plan.Since you’re a younger driver, your rate will likely be higher due to a lack of experience, so it’s important to do the research early. A good rule of thumb is to find three quotes from three different providers.
