How do I get my ex-wife's name removed from my car loan?

My wife was a co-borrower on my car loan, but we recently split up. I want to remove her name from the car loan, as she doesn't drive the car and has never driven it. How do I do this?

Sorry to hear that your relationship has fallen on tough times. Hopefully, everything works out for the best.
Regarding your
car loan
, the only way that you can remove your wife’s name from the loan as a co-borrower is to refinance the loan. However, the refinancing process is going to need her approval because she’s a co-borrower on the original loan.
If you can get your wife’s permission and she’s willing to sign the papers, you shouldn’t have any problem refinancing the vehicle. From there, you just need to make sure to shop around for the best interest rates based on your income and your credit score. The more you shop around, the better the odds of finding a great rate for your loan.
It’s also a good idea to check your insurance policy to see if you can find better rates there as well. To get the best rates and compare your current policy to competitors, log onto the
