How do I get my driving record in NJ?

What do I have to do in order to access my driving record in the state of New Jersey? I want to look over my record because I recently got rejected from Uber and I’m not sure why.

I’m sorry to hear that you got rejected from Uber! In order to access your driving record in
NJ
, you can request a copy online by visiting
https://mymvc.state.nj.us/driver-abstract/
. You’ll need to provide the following items:
  1. A valid Drivers License Number
  2. A valid Social Security Number
  3. A valid email address
  4. A valid credit card to pay the associated fee.
If you’d prefer, you can also visit your local Secretary of State office to request a copy of your record in person.
However, it’s also possible that Uber rejected you for a different reason. Uber also performs criminal background checks, so if you have a criminal record, that may be why you were rejected.
It’s possible that you’ll see some items on your driving record that are affecting your car insurance rates. To make sure you’re getting the best deal available, download the
