To rock your car out of the snow, just put it in drive and go forward. Then, use the same idea in reverse to create a rocking motion. Make sure not to floor the gas, as this can dig you deeper in the snow.
If the rocking method is ineffective, you can also try a few of these other methods:
Shift to a lower gear
Dig your tires out
Add traction to the area around your tires using kitty litter or a piece of wood
Find someone to help push you out of the snow
Remove some of the air from your tires
