How do I get my impounded car back? I parked my car and left it there for a few hours. When I returned to where I parked, it was gone. Turns out, the spot was a no parking zone.

“To get your car back, you’ll need to figure out where it was taken and be prepared to pay a fine. We hate to say it… but these can be expensive.
First, look for a sign nearby that says where a vehicle will be impounded if you park there. If you don’t see one, call the local police department’s non-emergency line—they should know.
