How do I get my car inspected in New Jersey after I moved to Oregon?

I moved to Oregon 10 months ago, and I just got a notice in the mail from the State of New Jersey that says my car is months overdue for inspection. What should I do?

That certainly is confusing. There are a couple of reasons that this could be the case.
First, make sure that you’ve registered your car in your new state. It’s possible that your car is still registered in New Jersey, which would mean they would be keeping track of your inspections.
If this is the case, make sure to register your car in Oregon. Typically, you only have a few months to register your car in your new state, so you’ll want to do this as soon as possible.
Once your car is registered in Oregon, you shouldn’t need to worry about completing the inspection in New Jersey.
Keep in mind that you’ll also need to alert your
car insurance
provider about your location change as your premiums are tied to your address. If you need a new policy, shop around for quotes with
