How do I get dog hair out of my car carpet?

My partner and I recently got a Border Collie. He’s a shedding machine. I have leather seats in my car, so it’s not hard to get rid of the dog hair there; it’s the carpets that are driving me crazy. How do I get dog hair out of my car carpet?

Congratulations on the new pup! Dogs can leave behind lots of dirt, dander, and hair that can make anyone’s car a real mess. Luckily, you can remove dog hair easily with the right supplies:
  • A vacuum cleaner or dustbuster for your car is a great investment. They can pick up anything your dog may leave behind without having to get so up-close and personal.
  • Lint rollers and duct tape work to pull embedded hairs from their hiding places. Simply roll them over the areas affected and watch the fur come right up.
  • Use water or a mix of fabric softener and water (for a good pull and clean smell) to loosen up the hairs, then attack with a paper towel or a rubber squeegee. Allow the area to dry and then vacuum.

, why not take this time to ensure you and your car have the proper protection with the
