Any stain in your car is an inconvenience, but a bloodstain may be the worst. Don’t worry, you can remove a bloodstain in your car with basic cleaning products.
First, take a damp rag or sponge and blot the blood stain. Be sure not to scrub, as this may make the stain go deeper into the upholstery.
Once damp, mix cold water and club soda then pour it onto the stain. Blot this with your sponge. You should see the stain begin to lighten. Repeat this step a few times.
Once the stain is lightened, one tablespoon of dishwashing liquid with two cups of cold water to make a solution. Apply this mixture to the stain gently with a toothbrush to loosen the stain. Once removed, blot the area with a wet cloth to remove any residue from the solution. Dry the area with a towel.
If a bloodstain is caused by an accident, you’ll need more than just a towel for protection—you’ll need good
