How do I get a stain off a car seat?
I let my brother use my car while I was in Miami for the week. When I got back, I noticed some stains on my seat. He claims he has no idea where they came from so I guess I’m going to have to clean them up. Any tips on how I can get a stain off a car seat?

I’m sorry to hear that you have to deal with the cleanup yourself. Luckily, it shouldn’t be too hard.
To get a stain off a car seat:
- Start by vacuuming the area so you’re not rubbing in any extra dirt.
- Make a cleaning solution by combining one cup of vinegar and a dollop of dish soap with a gallon of hot water.
- Use this mixture to dab the stains with a clean cloth. Follow up with a soft-bristled brush, like a toothbrush.
- Rinse with clean water and blot the area dry with a towel.
If you have leather seats, you may want to follow this up with another wash and conditioning to keep the leather in good condition. Alternatively, consider taking your car in to be detailed by a professional.
