How do I get a Honda infotainment system update?
I have a hunch that my 2021 Honda infotainment system could probably use an update. How do I know for sure? If it does need one, how do you get a Honda infotainment system update?

It’s important to keep your car’s software up to date. Here’s how to take care of your Honda infotainment system update from the comfort of your driveway:
- From your Honda infotainment system’s home screen, select “system updates”
- Select “settings”
- Select “connection setup”
- Select “Wi-Fi”
- Choose “change mode” and select “network”
- Find and log in to your home’s Wi-Fi network and select “connect”
If there’s a software update available for your vehicle, you should see a notification come up across the bottom of your screen. When you touch the message, it will take you to another screen where you can select software update is ready. From there, you can choose either to install the update immediately, or to wait to install until you’ve turned off and exited the vehicle.
The next time you turn on your vehicle, you should see a notification letting you know the update was successfully installed. If you run into issues during the process, you can contact your local Honda dealership or Honda customer service for guidance.
