How do I fix wind noise coming through my car window?

Every time I take my Subaru on the highway, there's a wind sound that blows through the passenger window. What can I do to better soundproof the car?

“Since the first step to stopping the noise is to identify where it’s coming from, you’re already a step ahead!
There are a few steps to follow to help reduce wind noise in your passenger window.
A simple first step is to replace the weatherstripping seal around the door. Weatherstripping wears down over time and damages in the seal could allow air to come through.
Secondly, look for signs of damage around the door and make sure it shuts all the way. It’s possible that the sound is coming through the door instead of the window.
Thirdly, check the window glass. Small cracks could allow air to pass through. If you can’t find an obvious cause from these methods, there are a few further steps you can take to reduce noise. This includes: Apply sound-deadening mats to the door of your vehicle. Install wind deflectors.
If these steps don’t work, it’s probably best to take the car to an
expert mechanic
to help you identify and fix the problem.
As you’re fixing your car up, be sure to check your
car insurance
policy too. Car insurance is just as important as regular maintenance.
