The windows of my Escalade are tinted to block out the brutal Arizona sun. Unfortunately, the tinting is starting to peel and doesn’t look very good. How do I fix the peeling tint on my car’s window?

Tinted windows are a necessity in hot, sunny climates.
If you’re set on fixing the tint, try this: rinse the peeling area with soapy water then squeegee it back into place. This can sometimes make it reattach to the wall. Just make sure there are no air bubbles!
More effective would be replacing the peeling area:
Wet the window, then cut away the peeling sections with an X-Acto knife.
Cut out a new section of tinting an inch larger and place it on the wet window.
If you don’t want patchwork on your window tinting, you can also remove the whole window tint.
