How do I fix peeling interior car paint?

I've noticed some paint peeling in the interior of my car. This isn't great news—I was planning to sell it and use the money to get a newer vehicle, and I'm concerned that this will make it a harder sell. Is there any way that I can fix the paint before I sell it? How can I fix it?

“Kudos to you for taking the initiative to fix it up before selling it! The best way to repair peeling interior paint and improve the
retail value
is to follow these steps:
  • If possible, remove the peeling piece of paint.
  • Sand the area with 600-grit and then 1,200 grit sandpaper.
  • Use spray paint to cover the area.
  • Sand the area again with 1,200 grit sandpaper.
  • Apply a second coat of paint.
Don’t forget to wear gloves and a mask when using spray paint.
This should return the peeling area to like-new condition!
If you do end up buying a new car, remember that you don’t have to
cancel your insurance
; you can transfer it.
Alternatively, if you want to make sure you’re getting the best deal on the coverage you need, you can look for a better price by using the
