How do I fix my car's door?

I was in a two-vehicle accident yesterday, leading to damages to my door. The car is still driveable, but the door is damaged. How can I fix this?

Body damage is likely not an issue you can fix at home.
After your accident, make sure you and the other driver are uninjured. Then, contact your insurance company and file a claim.
Other than looking unsightly, there is a chance that the damage to your door has affected other aspects of your car, like the center door pillar or the door jamb. Be sure to consult a mechanic to ensure your vehicle is safe to drive.
Be sure to notify your insurance company of the accident and file a claim if you need help paying for repairs. It’s possible a mechanic can fix the door for less than the cost of your deductible, in which case you shouldn’t file a claim.
Keep in mind that accidents and filing claims can increase your insurance premiums. If your rates increase too much, sign up with the free insurance broker, Jerry, to confirm you have the best possible coverage for any future needs.”
