Sorry to hear that! Luckily, fixing a car’s cigarette lighter plug is a relatively easy job—all you need to do is replace the plug.
Due to the fact that your issue isn’t with the fuse or socket’s wiring, there must be something wrong with either the electronics inside the plug or the springs inside the plug are worn out, preventing the plug from conducting electricity.
Provided you have the proper know-how, it might be possible to fix either issue with the plug, but it may also be too far gone.
