How do I fix car window off track?

I was driving with my windows down on the highway and I’m not sure what happened but my window did not roll up correctly. How do I put my car window back on track?

I’m sorry to hear your car window is off track. Luckily, you can try the following steps to realign your car window:
  • Disassemble your car door panel attachments
  • Remove the door panel
  • Check to see if the window rollers are aligned on the tracks
  • Inspect rollers for damage and replace if necessary
  • Align the roller and windows in the track
  • Lubricate rollers and tracks with oil-based grease
